Dear Visitor, Welcome to the webpage for the Ministry of Trade. The Ministry of Trade handles all economical aspects of Shireroth. We oversee and handle administrative functions of the current economy, and also work on the development of the new economy concept. Shireroth currently runs on the \"Gift Economy,\" a quite ingenius concept created by Scott \"Squiddeh\" Alexander. It runs on a simple premise - reward those who create something you like with Noble Erb, the currency of Shireroth. Any new accounts can be added by an administrator, which is basically me, the Minister of Trade, Moose. The new economy concept was created by Moose and developed by both Moose and the Asistant Minister of Trade, Cesare Agosto. The basis of this economy is a steady flow of money to and from the government and citizens. By charging for some of the most common requests by users, such as Title Changes, votes in the Landsraad (we don\'t condone bribery, only recognize it\'s existance, of course), signature extensions, and other vanities we take for granted, we increase the flow of Common Erb, the name for Erb used in the new system, into the system. In return, the government holds lotteries, casinos, hires independant workers, and redistrubutes the money to the Imperial Sector members, who in turn give the money out to their citizens at their discrescion.
